If your call of the wild includes the unusual and unique then consider this Victorian kilt or hunting hat pin from Scotland that’s made of silverplate and sports a horse hair “bouquet”. It also sports a dimensional Grouse in the center with decorative edges above & below as well as a wheel on the side for removal of the horse hair should you wish. The brooch measures approx. 4.5” in length inclusive of the hair and about 5/8” wide. Unmarked with a simple “C” clasp on the back. It’s in good condition for the age with tarnishing to the plate and some of the hair is shorter in the front than in the back. I don’t know if this is original or not but it certainly doesn’t detract.
